Managing your Codes/Conferences

Customer called in to ask about managing pin codes. I advised him that he could, forever, use the original pins. We also went over “scheduling one time conferences & the adding & removing of the pins. Customer was very happy that he called in to ask because he would have never imagined that he would have so many privileges from his online account. He stated that he was glad with signing up & did not waste any time to hold his first conference call.

On-Demand vs Scheduled Conference Calls Part 2

If you have a conference and it has been deactivated, it most likely means you scheduled a conference from your conference manager page for a specific date and time. The online scheduler creates a unique code for the moderator and participant for the one-time use scheduled call. Once the scheduled call is over, the scheduled conference is automatically deactivated for security purposes. If you do not need to deactivate your codes each time, then use your “On-Demand” conference(s) which can be found under Conference Manager. On-Demand vs Scheduled Conference Calls

Customer called in inquiring about a general conference line. They stated that they always have to schedule a conference in order to receive pin codes. While they were on their online account I walked them through the conference manager & view conference list & pointed out the “on-demand” conference line. I offered to send the account information to them, but they stated that the information provided was enough.  You can also request wallet cards to be sent - these cards contain your conference codes and access numbers.  From your conference manager, you can also update and add new conference codes.

Scheduling Conference Calls

Customer called in needing to schedule a conference call. Each account has at least one conference (set of codes) which can be used “on-demand” whenever a call is needed - these conferences can be seen on your Conference Manager page. You do have the ability to schedule a conference call, however this is not required unless the call will have more than 50 people in attendance.
